Protecting leather is essential to prevent soil build up and colour loss due to wear. This must not be confused with conditioning which is a separate issue. Leather does not need conditioning as it is only the surface that needs looking after. It's hard to imagine this but if anything gets through the outer layer, then it will eventually get further into the leather itself. This why it is so important to protect the outer layer.
Protection can be applied to old and new leather items (older items will need to be cleaned first). The leather protection cream that we apply provides a protective barrier to the leather preventing stains, dirt and liquids penetrating the surface.
